Show By Rock!! gained an anime series that premiered on April 5th, 2015. It was animated by Bones and licensed by Funimation for the subbed version of the series. The story has a different plot from the mobile game.
A second season titled Show by Rock!!# will air in April 2016 and a short anime has been announced called Show by Rock!! Short! will be premeiring spometime in July 2016.

Antagonists[]
Dark Monsters- creatures that prey on Myuumons for their Melodisian stones and emit harsh sounds. If one's Melodisian stone is corrupted, then they will also become a dark monster.
Dagger Morse- the mysterious president of Unicorn Virtual Music Inc. who aims to control all of Sound World by using Dark Monsters. He is also responsible for sending Cyan to MIDI City.
Ogasawara- Dagger's lackey.
